Hi, I’m Jane

35 years doing business,

not just teaching it..

So what I share with you actually works, because I’ve lived it.

Jane Elley, strategy and mindset coach, at work in Christchurch
how I got here

I came home from my OE with a dream to build a business — but without enough money to start, I took on a “temporary” job to tide me over.

That temporary job became a business.  And that business became 29 years of building my successful direct sales organisation of women within the business, leading teams across New Zealand and coaching hundreds of women, including in Australia.

I learned so much along the way — how to run a business, work for myself, and stay accountable, tenacious and adaptable through the wins, the challenges and everything in between. And I coached and mentored hundreds of women to do the same, with good mindset, solid systems and growth strategies that actually work.

The Empowerment Project is the direct continuation of that work: helping driven women cut through the noise in their own heads, build a strategy that fits their life, and follow through.

why this matters for you

The part no course teaches you.

A lot of us have done the courses, the webinars, the online programmes, and picked up great information along the way.

But putting it into practice is often where we stall. Fear, overwhelm, not feeling ready — it all gets in the way, and no course really warns you about that.

You can be really good at what you do. It’s knowing how to handle the people, the emotions and the doubts that makes backing yourself hard.

I’ve worked with people from all walks of life: women building businesses, women in demanding careers, people returning to work or rebuilding after injury through ACC, youth just starting out, and others facing real barriers to employment.

Different starting points, but the same journey — from stuck, to moving forward.

And that’s exactly what I’m here to help you do.

a bit about me

We’re on a farm near Christchurch — my partner Dave breeds beef cattle, and I’m based at home but often out and about: meetups, workshops, coaching. My three kids are grown, with two still at home.

My daughter has Down syndrome, and being able to work from home and around her needs has been a crucial part of building my business in these later years. I’ve found that working hard when I can means that when I can’t, the business is able to flex around our situation. That adaptability is a big part of why I believe so much in building your own thing — something that works around your family and your life, not against it.

When I’m not working or coaching, you’ll find me in the garden, walking the dogs, and catching up with friends and family.

“You’re more capable than you give yourself credit for. Sometimes you just need someone in your corner to help you see it.”

“Working with Jane helped me stay on task and accountable for what I wanted to achieve in my business. I have big goals and used to get easily diverted. Her coaching expertise and drive to help her clients are invaluable, and I love her positive, light-hearted approach. With her years of network marketing and home-based business experience, her coaching style is fabulous for mine and anyone in these types of businesses.”
